Key Roles
I started teaching at Olds Koinonia in 2002 and it is a blessing to influence young people's lives for Christ. I currently teach PE, computers, health, and CTS as well as the athletic director. I hail from Sarnia ON, grew up in Didsbury AB and gratuated from Caronport Christian High School on the Briercrest campus in Saskatchewan followed by attending the University of Calgary completing a BSc degree in Kinesiology followed by a BEd degree in Education and played 4 years of junior hockey here in Alberta. I have coached volleyball for 14 years now as well as badminton and track for 13 years but my school sport of passion is badminton and have loved building our Provincial caliber badminton program over the years.
My wife and I have three beautiful children and we enjoy watching our boys play minor hockey, our girl figure skate and spending time with our families.
Outside of school I enjoy playing hockey year round, golfing in a men's league, cheering for the Montreal Canadiens, getting my motorcycle out, and almost anything vintage - especially collecting 1950's and 1960's gas and soda memorabilia.
Isaiah 40:31
"But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint".
