Renee McCracken

My educational career started overseas fourteen years ago in Sundsvall Sweden, where I taught foods and fashion. When I was moving back to Canada I never knew I would have the opportunity to teach at a Christian School and in both social studies and home economics the subject areas I specialized in at university.  Olds Kononia has been my second home for the last nine years, where I taught high school social studies and 7-12 home economics. This year I’m excited to take on the new role of career counselor at school. I’m looking forward to exploring all the opportunities Chinook’s Edge has through dual credit, work experience or to just dream with students about where God might lead them. 

When I’m not working I’m enjoying time with my family. We are usually busy in the kitchen baking, doing some crafts, gardening, watching the Oilers or out at the park with our dog Honey.
